James Presta started his career as an auto mechanic working for a GM dealership straight out of high school in 1987. Since then he has worked for Toyota, Chrysler, and Nissan dealerships as well. In between James worked for a few independent shops learning and expanding his knowledge and experience on other makes and types of vehicles.

What makes this mechanic so unique is not just the passion he has for his craft, but the passion he has for people and society. James volunteers his time to organizations like “The Walking Divas” for breast cancer, and “Relay for Life”. He is a member of the Chamber of Commerce in New Port Richey, and also a member of NFIB.

ASE and Toyota Certified Mechanic

As a mechanic, James is ASE and Toyota certified and prides himself on the work that leaves his shop. Presta Automotive is also run by James’s brother Frank Presta. Frank or “Uncle Frankie” as friends and family call him. He takes care of the bookkeeping and runs the office mostly leaving the dirty work to the pros.
